Working an honest job to make money for daily life, is not a sin. Jesus was a carpenter, Paul fixed nets, and we read what the apostles taught about that; they said that he who does not provide for his family is worse than an unbeliever. We also read that he who does not work should not eat. We are to work honest jobs in our lives, but we must be focused on Jesus Christ. There are many jobs that are unholy and wicked, and if you work them you are in violation of the laws of God and breaking Jesus' commandments.

But there are also many jobs that we have to do and that are necessary, and we must get through our days being honest and working and serving Jesus and doing what we can for the kingdom of God. We must be keeping our robes separate from the ways and paths of this world. We want to be keeping our robes from all sin knowing that those who are obedient to Jesus and strive to obey him, their sins will be forgiven and he will cover all their sins and they will not be held against them. So dear friends be honest, work where the Lord gives you work, and be faithful in all you do for the Lord. Be separate unto him. Be separate from the path of this generation that loves lies dishonestly cheating lust perversion and immorality and all the things that God hates......
