Christians talk about being saved, but I want to tell you today that nobody is saved until they have run the race of faith with endurance and they have not been disqualified along the way.

Jesus said that he who endures to the end shall be saved. Jesus said that if you want to be my disciple you must pick up your cross and follow me. He said that the road to life is narrow and few people find it. Why is it that few people find this gate to life? It is because many people start on the way but they don't finish the way. They don't endure until the end. We read that Blessed is he who endures temptation, for when he has been tried and tested, he shall then receive the crown of life. We can read that in James. It is only when you have endured all the way until the end, that you shall be saved. Nobody saved yet. But when we endure until the end, keeping faithful, then we will be saved. So that's why we must have faith.

Faith is trust in the arm of God to save us through Jesus Christ. Faith is striving on the narrow way keeping away from sin and all the ways that lead to hell. People who are not faithful are those who just go back to the world. They don't have true faith, so they just go back to sin worldliness and living for their own desires. Such people have fallen out of the race of faith. They are no longer in the race and will not get the prize of eternal life. There is no such thing as being saved now until they have reached the end of the race of faith. And those who just fall out of the race of faith and fall back to sin, they give themselves over to Satan.

Dear friends I want to encourage you to strive on the narrow way to life, to run the race with insurance so that you will not be disqualified for the prize, and when you have run the race all the way to the end, stay faithful and you will inherit the kingdom of God. And when you have endured under temptation and not given in to temptation, then you'll will be given the crown of life......
